GPT-Image

Use OpenAI GPT-Image models (e.g. gpt-image-2, gpt-image-2.5, gpt-image-2.5-flare, gpt-image-2.5-exact, gpt-image-2.5-sunburst) with:

POST /v1/images/generations — generate
POST /v1/images/edits — edit (JSON and multipart/form-data)

Common fields: prompt, size / aspect_ratio, quality, n, background, output_format, response_format; optional stream when supported. Pick model from the Model Square.

Supported aspect ratios and resolutions

Pixel sizes by quality tier (1K / 2K / 4K) and aspect ratio:

You can also pass size directly (e.g. 1024x1024, 2048x1152, 3840x2160, auto). For custom sizes: max side ≤ 3840px, both sides multiples of 16, aspect ratio ≤ 3:1, total pixels roughly 655360–8294400.
